Join us for the 24th annual Open House of the Phoenix Church on Sunday August 18, 2024 from 1-4 p.m. This is the only time to see artifacts from 31 churches, active and inactive, being displayed. Come inside and experience the contents in the nave, behind the altar and the balcony. Items are labeled for identification. There are beautiful and unusual religious objects such as: vestments, prayer books in various languages, hand woven Easter palms, paintings, statues, certificates and a baptismal font. There is a video with history of the church, a wedding and surrounding area from films in the 1930s and ‘40s.
